Bio

Shaun Khosla, MD recently joined Greater Metropolitan Orthopaedics as a board certified, general orthopaedic surgeon. He was born and raised in the Northern Virginia area, graduating from St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes School. He went on to complete his undergraduate education at Colgate University and his medical training at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He then completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Rochester. While at the University of Rochester he presented a number of orthopaedic trauma lectures as well as grand rounds and case presentations. He also published articles in peer reviewed orthopaedic journals and presented abstracts at national orthopaedic meetings. Dr. Khosla completed his training upon graduation in June, 2009, and returned to this area for practice. He practices as a board certified, general orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in arthroscopic shoulder surgery, including rotator cuff and labral repairs. When not taking care of patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. He also enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors.
